I apologize for not getting some updates posted to this site. My computer crashed a few times and I lost a lot of emails and updates that had been waiting to post. If you have any recent information that you would like to include, please send me an email!
Jason Abel
Jason graduated from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1996 with a BA degree in Musicology. He attended graduate school in organ at Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he graduated in 1999 cum laude. Jason continued studying privately in England and during the summer of 1998, played for one week at Westminster Abbey in London. While in Dallas he worked for a large Episcopal church and accompanied the choir on two professional recordings (one the music of Orlando Gibbons (1583-1625), the other was 20th century British choral works) which have received high reviews and honors. He is currently the Director of Music for the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville, Alabama.
Loyd Beal III
Loyd graduated with honors from Prairie View A&M University with a BS in Agronomy (1997). He currently serves as an Officer in the US Army's Corps of Engineer at Fort Hood, TX. Loyd is married to Vernadette, his college sweetheart, and has a 3 year old son (Loyd "Ryan" Beal).
Sarah (Gonzalez) Dwyer
Sarah graduated in '96 from A&M with a B.S. in Agricultural Science. She married Robert Dwyer a month later. Robert is also an Aggie and works as a stockbroker for Paine Webber. Sarah worked as an Ag. teacher at Klein High School in Spring for 2 years. She is now a stay-at-home-mom/domestic goddess. Avery Madison was born July 21, 1998. She is also the mother of a son Jack born in 2000. They currently reside in Katy.
Chad Eckelberg
Chad graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Animal Science in 1997. He currently works as a General Manager for a Cedar Ridge Construction. Chad and Tracie were married in June of 1999 and reside in Katy. They had their first child, Elizabeth in December 2001.
Tracie (Zapalac) Eckelberg
Tracie graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Health in 1996 and received her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Houston Baptist University in 1998. She currently works as a Product and Marketing Director. Chad and Tracie were married in June of 1999 and reside in Katy. They had their first child, Elizabeth in December 2001.
Becky (Reichardt) Forrester
Becky graduated from Texas A&M with a B.A. in Psychology in December 1995 and moved to California to join her husband Craig, now a Captain in the USMC. She worked at a shelter for homeless, runaway and troubled youth for two years before returning to school at San Diego State University. She graduated May 2000 with a Master of Social Work with an emphasis on clinical practice with children, youth and families. Becky and Craig have been married for 5 years and they have a 5 yr old German Shepard named Scout. Becky and Craig currently live in Oceanside, California.
Charity (Ross) Holley
Charity met her husband, Justin Holley, in December 1996 - they dated off and on and finally were married on January 29, 2000. Her husband is a Sr. Designer at Stewart & Stevenson in Sealy and she works for a carbon black manufacturing company as the Executive Assistant to the President. They just had their first baby, Madeleine Danielle on July 8, 2001 and to their recent surprise are expecting again in August of 2002. They have just built their new home in Sealy and love the "family" life! Charity hopes everyone is doing well and looks forward to our class reunion!
Mick Konvicka
Mick graduated in May 2001 with a Masters in Geography from Texas A&M. He got engaged to the lovely Anita in June, with a wedding to follow April 2002. He is currently employed with the Houston-Galveston Area Council as a Geographic Information Systems analyst, conducting research on traffic and population forecasting.
Brian Moeller
Brian is still working at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics - Fort Worth. He is married with no kiddos on the way, just a puppy to keep them occupied for right now. The puppy, Brian claims, makes a good deterrance for children.
Wilford "Trey" Morris

Rachel Novicke
Rachel graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in Speech Communications. She is currently working as a High School Speech teacher at B.F. Terry High School. She resides in Katy.
Daniel Petree
Daniel is living in Orlando, FL and working for The Walt Disney, Co. as a Systems Solution Analyst and Web Designer. He designs and builds product marketing web sites and client-server logistics and guest systems for the Walt Disney Worlds Retail, Dining and Entertainment properties. Having taken a few years out of school to focus on work, Daniel will be graduating with a BS in Business Information Systems in a few months from the University of Phoenix and plans on pursuing an MIS shortly thereafter. Daniel has no plans to come back to Texas. He just bought a house and is not married--hasn't had time...
Leanna (Little) Prosser
Leanna attended Blinn College for a year before leaving to the Bay Area (San Francisco) to serve a 1 1/2 year mission for her church. She had the time of her life and made many dear friends one of whom, two years later, would become her husband, Alex. Upon her return home, she went back to Blinn and then to Texas A&M. As fate would have it she reunited with Alex, they fell madly in love, married in September of 1998 and currently reside in Los Angeles. Alex is from London, England and has been coined by one magazine as " ...a mega talented builder/fabricator who works at a world class level in all four vehicle areas - cars, boats, airplanes and motorcycles..." Some of you guys may be familiar with or have seen on T.V. the project that brought him to the States. He was Lead Fabricator and Crew Chief for Craig Breedlove's 45,000 hp Spirit of America vehicle to break the sound barrier. He now runs his own business building primarily hot rods, race cars and airplanes. Leanna currently enjoys her job working for a telecommunications distributor in Torrance. There are no children yet but they have two great dogs. They absolutely love L.A. especially the weather as they enjoy the outdoors. In their spare time, they can usually be found at the beach walking the dogs. So if you plan to visit California, she said to give her a ring - Take Care!
Michelle (Kovar) Rapsilver
After graduating from SHSU in '96, Michelle married her high school sweetheart, Chuck Rapsilver. They built a house in Katy shortly after they were married. Chuck works as a computer technician for Katy ISD. Michelle taught first grade for three years, but now she loves staying at home with their sons, Nicholas and their new addition Andrew.
Chad Sodolak
Chad and his wife Latisha have been living in their new home that they built in Vidor for just over a year now. They are still doing yard work and are adding a workshop. Chad is working as a mechanical engineer at North Star Steel and Latisha is a chemical salesperson for BetzDearborn. They also recently started their own company called Chadworks. They do custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. -- They hope everyone is well!
Nancy Schaare
Nancy and her husband ended their 3 year marriage in December. She is now enjoying single life in Austin. She is teaching her first year in PE in a local elementary school. She graduated in 1997 from Southwest Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She continued on at SWT and received her master's in Exercise Science in 1999. Eric and Nancy were married in July 1997, and the divorce was finalized December 29, 2000. She was able to start this year off with a lot of positive feelings and attitudes; it was perfect timing. Nancy has two chiuhuahuas and a cat, and they are content with each other most of the time.
Dustin Svatek
Dustin is still single and currently resides in Irving. He works downtown in Fort Worth at the Charles D. Tandy Center for Nine West.
Deanna (Little) Welch
After graduating in 1992 Deanna went off to Blinn and later that year met her husband Roger. They were married in Aug of 1993 and after 8 months of wedded bliss they decided to expand. Parker is now 7 yrs old and in 1st grade and their little girl Reagan is in Kindergarten and about to celebrate her 6th birthday. Their son, Colby Lee, was born August 30, 2001 in Memphis, Tennessee and he weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. He is their little piece of heaven on earth and they are so glad he's joined the family. A month later, they packed up and moved across the country to central California. Her husband has taken a new job as design manger for Mountain Connection, a construction company. It's far from home, but not too far from Leanna. She is still a stay-at-home mom and loving every minute of it (well, most of the time!). They still have two dogs Sadie and Petey and plan to build a new home next year.
